Have you recently been living by any life philosophy? Do not become your emotions and brutal honesty. What will baffle future generations about our day and age? If there is a future generation they’ll probably wonder why we dragged our feet on climate change. Also Capitalism. Are you aware of any conspiracies? I just learned about the skinwalker ranch. What is it that interests you about photography? So much and I don’t have the words. The ability to stop time and hyper-focus on small glimpses that communicate a bigger idea. What is the worst thing about city life? Depends on the city but I’d say the winter overall. What part of the planet would you like to explore? Florida. What do you think is the most plausible of the supernatural? Everything, all of it. just alter your frequency a little. If you had to align yourself with a leader in history, who would it be? Karl Heinrich Ulrichs. Pick a field of science to be an expert within. Astrology. What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? Age 11-13 years would have been excellent to photograph. Choose a job you would be willing to do for free on the side. I do not believe in working without some kind of exchange or compensation. Maybe a firefighter?? Describe the most important photo you’ve seen. I don’t think I can choose one but Robert Frank’s ‘The Americans’ really changed how I thought about photography. How often do you take other people’s advice? When it’s good, not often. Describe a personal hell. Other people talking while you are trying to sleep and punishers.

Which living person do you most admire? There’s not just one. Every older queer or freak who gave me a glimpse into what my life could be! On what occasion do you lie? I lie to myself more often than I do to others. What was the last crime you witnessed? I watched some dude walk into Walgreens, 10 minutes before closing, grab a couple bottles of wine and walk out with not a care in the world. The employees told him to enjoy. What is the best way to educate yourself? Self-motivation, curiosity, and determination. What is the next book you want to read? Just read ‘My Lesbian Experience with Loneliness’ by Nagata Kabi and am about to start ‘Close to the Knives’ by David Wojnarowicz. Ultimate camera? Mamiya RZ67? Most used camera? Mamiya 7. What object do you want? A big bathtub jacuzzi. What object do you need? New shoes. How would you explain the internet to someone from the 1950’s? It’s like a TV you can talk to and give requests to. It also monitors and analyzes everything you do. Are you satisfied with your level of physical strength? Not at all. Describe a cheap thrill. Running a red light. Pick a historic moment from the last hundred years to bring a camera to. Just one? Are impulses more important than consequences? Sometimes. If the consequences teach you something then I’d say yeah. Which talent would you most like to have? I wish I could skateboard. What is your plan for the next 24 hours? I smell bad and should take a shower.
