Have you recently been living by any life philosophy? Depends on the day, it’s always changing. What will baffle future generations about our day and age? That we didn’t have a cure for cancer. Are you aware of any conspiracies? I’ve watched Zeitgeist: The Movie. I use to go around and yell “9/11 was a inside job!” when I was drunk and younger. What is it that interests you about photography? The love, the hate. What is the worst thing about city life? Participating in the rat race. I recently moved to Rockaway Beach, NY to spend time away from the rat race when I’m not working. City life is much happier when you’re close to the beach. What part of the planet would you like to explore? Rural Russia. To hang out with people from @lookatthisrussian. What do you think is the most plausible of the supernatural?
When I was young I saw a ghost. I love hearing peoples ghost stories also and talking to people who completely don’t believe in it. It’s a strange thing because how can you prove to someone who hasn’t seen a ghost that you saw one or that they exist? If you had to align yourself with a leader in history, who would it be? Obama. Pick a field of science to be an expert within. Cancer. What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? When I was young, like 8-10yrs old. I could’ve taken a picture of the ghost then also.
Choose a job you would be willing to do for free on the side. Photography, oh wait, I still do that. Describe the most important photo you’ve seen. Saigon Execution by Eddie Adams. I remember seeing this photo a lot when I was young and always thought that the guy holding the gun was the bad person. When I first saw the photo in a museum I learned that the guy who was being executed was considered a terrorist and had just killed a whole family. This kind of turned me upside down and I realized the power of a photograph and how they can change peoples perception of life and it’s potential of lying to a viewer.

How often do you take other people’s advice? 50/50. Describe a personal hell. Constant pain. Which living person do you most admire? My wife, Taylor. On what occasion do you lie? Never ;). What was the last crime you witnessed? I saw a stabbing at a train station in East Harlem. What is the best way to educate yourself? Books. Ultimate camera? Would be awesome to see a digital Mamiya 7II. Most used camera? Nikon D850. What object do you want? Mamiya 7II. What object do you need? Film. How would you explain the internet to someone from the 1950’s? Millions of books with information, photographs, and videos into a TV that you can search for with keywords. Are you satisfied with your level of physical strength? Wish I had better upper body strength. Describe a cheap thrill. Smoking cigarettes. Pick a historic moment from the last hundred years to bring a camera to. Woodstock 1969. Are impulses more important than consequences? I’d like to think so. I’d probably own a house by now if I didn’t think so. Which talent would you most like to have? Painting. What is your plan for the next 24 hours? I recently got diagnosed with cancer and had surgery last week to get it removed. Have a few doctor appts today then chill with the wifey tonight. Hoping to get back to work tomorrow!
