Copious amount of them, my favorite is definitely flat earth. What is it that interests you about photography? The ability to interact and respond to the physical world. What is the worst thing about city life? How claustrophobic everything appears to be. What part of the planet would you like to explore? Galicia and the southwestern US. What do you think is the most plausible of the supernatural? New York Knicks winning the NBA championship. If you had to align yourself with a leader in history, who would it be? Mark Fisher. Pick a field of science to be an expert within. Geology. What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? There are so many; I almost never have my camera on me. Choose a job you would be willing to do for free on the side. A line cook or something similar. Describe the most important photo you’ve seen. The first photo from Larry Sultan’s Pictures From Home and a picture of my parents when they were in college. How often do you take other people’s advice? Less than I should. Describe a personal hell. Driving on garden state parkway. What was the last crime you witnessed? I just jaywalked a couple hours ago. What is the next book you want to read? Fire in the Belly by Cynthia Carr, Hopscotch by Julio Cortazar. Ultimate camera? One of those phase one digital medium format cameras. Most used camera? Probably my 4×5. What object do you want? A nice coffee table. What object do you need? Laundry detergent. How would you explain the internet to someone from the 1950’s? Virtual space where the exchange of information took place. Are you satisfied with your level of physical strength? I’m trying to play more tennis. Describe a cheap thrill. Chick fil a spicy chicken sandwich. Pick a historic moment from the last hundred years to bring a camera to. Shanghai in the late 80s/early 90s. Are impulses more important than consequences? Depends on the impulses and consequences.
