Have you recently been living by any life philosophy? I repeat myself everyday “God won’t give you more than you can handle.” What will baffle future generations about our day and age? How social media turned us into freaks? Are you aware of any conspiracies? The Universe and souls conspiring in our favour. What is it that interests you about photography? It’s like having a magic lamp showing you the exact moment you can see both a deep fragility and violence by the person you photograph. What is the worst thing about city life? No ocean.. What part of the planet would you like to explore? To go to all the craziest abandoned places on earth, the abandoned Disneyland in China would come first! What do you think is the most plausible of the supernatural? Too long to say, but it makes me think spirit photography would be a nice hobby to start. If you had to align yourself with a leader in history, who would it be? Baba Yaga would be nice..or Frida Kahlo. Pick a field of science to be an expert within. Quantum physics or.. taxidermy! What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? Unfortunately its more about the moments I didn’t dare to take the pictures.. Choose a job you would be willing to do for free on the side. Fortune teller or astrologer. Describe the most important photo you’ve seen. When I was 14 and I saw the Diane Arbus twins for the first time, she became my absolute Queen .. and I should add for some reason I can’t explain the Winogrand photo that says “welcome to California Jane”, this one particulary sticks in my head.
