Submissions for the 5th annual IPF Photo Prize are now being accepted! Photographers, photo-enthusiasts and photo-makers of all descriptions and disciplines in all parts of the world are invited to submit images for exhibition in the IPF Photo Prize 2016 – the premier event for the IPF 2016 program!

After four years of presenting one of Melbourne’s largest and most diverse prints-based competitions and auction, they’re switching things up a little for 2016 …

This year, submissions are to be made via their online submissions form and will be printed by IPF, Thirds Fine Art Printing and Canson Photographic Papers. No print submissions will be accepted this time.

Exhibited entries will be in the running to win $5,000 worth of prizes in the following categories:

Judge’s Panel 1st Place / Judge’s Panel 2nd Place / People’s Choice Award

The Judge’s Panel prizes will be awarded on opening night (Saturday 12 November) by our assemblage of industry pros and photography legends:

As ever, the Photo Prize will open the week-long program of solo and group exhibitions, screenings, talks and workshops across some of Melbourne’s best independent galleries and spaces from 12 to 20 November.
