R O M K A – M A G A Z I N E : I S S U E – 9
The latest issue of Romka has arrived and as expected looks absolutely golden. Now nine issues deep the magazine/photo album continues Its tradition of sharing the stories behind peoples most valued photographs.
The magazine explores the relationship of photography and personal memory by showcasing how both life-changing events as well as small anecdotes are recorded. Always presenting a omnifarious cast of image makers, Romka features both renowned photographers and unknowns alike.
“In this issue, editor Joscha Bruckert arranged all contributions in pairs, making connections between seemingly unrelated stories. In this context, even the most mundane memories seem to reveal universal truths about life and the things that we wish to remember”.
