Choose a song to play over a montage of everything you did today. “From Then to Now” – off Killah Priest’s Heavy Mental. Does violence solve problems? Problems don’t solve themselves. Violence itself is a problem, that’s why it needs to be solved. Only Peace can solve problems, because Peace is the end that every problem will eventually arrive at. Are impulses more important than consequences? Cause and effect are not separate. I influence every consequence in my Life. Knowledge comes before Wisdom and thought comes before action. The consequences of my actions aren’t mysterious. I’m a full thought, a whole idea. What comes from me is everything I am. Every possible consequence has already occurred. Through my actions I choose the consequences I want and deny the rest. Describe the most important photo you’ve seen. There’s no order of importance to photographs. A photograph didn’t make me want to be a photographer. Receiving a manual camera made me want to be a photographer.
How often do you take other people’s advice? Often. Listening to wisdom, council among the wise – a healthy mental diet prepared by God… Just looking for advice shows that you’re intelligent enough to know that you don’t know everything. Using three words, describe art. Nothing. Everything. Anything. Using three words, compose your last words. I see now. Invent a flavour. Curb. Does the modern world impress you? No. The world has always had one purpose. And that is to distract you from God. The world is an outward projection of an inward condition. When the inner condition changes the world changes. The Light of God in myself impresses me. That is the real part. The world is only an illusion. Is your country in safe hands politically, and if not, when was it last? Any country that uses politics can never be safe. Every country will eventually evolve into peace and the whole world will be safe. When the whole world is safe countries won’t have politics. Being born is self sabotage. We came here to die. Through life, if we identify with spirit, with the light inside, then we never die. In order to do so we must deny the body the unwarranted value we give it. Describe your generation? I don’t know my generation. I was born in ‘85 and always had older people in my life. I see what the kids are doing and I hope for them. I hope they look inside.
What question would you most like to be asked? Big bills or small bills? What was the last crime you witnessed? A police officer punching a woman. What is the best way to educate yourself? Walk – Walking increases intelligence. Walk with a camera, that’s even better. What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? I was using the mind to make pictures before a camera. I was making pictures in space then in the womb. That’s how my mind works. I never felt I was separate from a camera. If anything, photography is an addition to the way my mind makes memories. Photography is deeper to me than it is to most people. I’m not trying to make pretty photos or capture important events. I’m concerned with Light. Photography is my inside joke with God.
Is western society still capable of full-scale revolutionary acts? I’m not sure what they’re capable of. There needs to be a collective experience experienced by all people on the planet. That experience needs to be forgiveness. When people fear, they attack so the removal of all fear is necessary. The only thing that removes fear is forgiveness; but people fear forgiveness thinking it makes them vulnerable. Make a prediction for the future. The now will become more important. Where do you think the most dangerous place on Earth is? There are no dangerous places on Earth. Danger is an invention invented by fearful minds to prevent them from looking inward. Danger is a state of mind found where understanding is lacking. In truth, nothing real can be threatened.
