Left or right handed? Right. What is your most treasured possession? Family albums and photos and all my books. Where would you like to live? A pimped out gypsy caravan sounds pretty good.What is your favourite occupation? Being on the road and photographing. What is the quality you most like in a man? Integrity and humour. What is the quality you most like in a woman? Sisterhood and a good laugh. What do you most value in your friends? Loyalty, support and abiding love for the absurd. What are you most looking forward to? The rest of my life. Summer or winter? Summer, that’s a no brainer, but I like the idea of snow – if it wasn’t so cold, I’d like it even more. Who are your favourite writers? D.H Lawrence, Geraldine Brooks, Gabriela Garcia Marquez and Peter Carey (to name a few) Who is your favourite hero of fiction? Nacho Libre. Who are your heroes in real life? People who overcome their fears, get on with it and live a full life.

How would you like to die? Old and with no regrets. What is your greatest fear? Outliving my children. Which historical figure do you most identify with? Beatrix Potter. Which living person do you most admire? Chris Lilley – bold as brass but a good foil to our overly politically correct sensibilities. Thank goodness! What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Impatience. What is the trait you most deplore in others? Whining, whingeing, complaining, whatever you want to call it….. It’s boring. Get over it. What is your greatest extravagance? Driving a new car – feels very grown-up. What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Pride. On what occasion do you lie? When I don’t want to tell people the truth. What is your biggest regret? Not being true to myself when it counted. What is your most recognizable feature? My bullshit-detector. Ask anyone. What is your most annoying habit? Over-analysing everything.
